Thames Lodge

Established in 1881, Thames Lodge originally met at the Red Lion before moving to 61 Reading Road, in 1891. Since then, the building has been in regular use and in January 2016, it was used to host Thames Lodge's 1000th meeting.

Our Members come from all walks for life and often discover new friendships, as well as supporting the local community.

Thames Lodge

Supporting good causes

One of the key principles behind Freemasonry is that of charitable giving and much of the money donated is raised by the Lodge members at meetings.

In 2016 for example, Thames Lodge raised over £4,000, most of which was donated to local charities: Sue Ryder and Oxford Heart.

The Lodge is also keen to support youth charities in and around the Henley area. If you are running or involved in youth groups, please get in touch .
